5.10.2020 IT Gazzetta ufficiale dell’Unione europea L 322/1 DECISIONE (UE) 2020/1392 DEL CONSIGLIO del 2 ottobre 2020 relativa alla nomina di membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2020 al 20 settembre 2025, che abroga e sostituisce la decisione del Consiglio relativa alla nomina dei membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2020 al 20 settembre 2025 adottata il 18 settembre 2020 IL CONSIGLIO DELL’UNIONE EUROPEA, visto il trattato sul funzionamento dell’Unione europea, in particolare l’articolo 300, paragrafo 2, e l’articolo 302, vista la decisione (UE) 2019/853 del Consiglio, del 21 maggio 2019, che determina la composizione del Comitato economico e sociale europeo ( 1 ) , viste le proposte presentate da ciascuno Stato membro, previa consultazione della Commissione europea, considerando quanto segue: (1) A norma delle decisioni (UE, Euratom) 2015/1600 ( 2 ) e (UE, Euratom) 2015/1790 ( 3 ) del Consiglio, il mandato dei membri attuali del Comitato economico e sociale europeo è scaduto il 20 settembre 2020. È opportuno pertanto procedere alla nomina dei membri per un periodo di cinque anni a decorrere dal 21 settembre 2020. (2) Ogni Stato membro è stato invitato a presentare al Consiglio un elenco di candidati, composto da rappresentanti delle organizzazioni di datori di lavoro, di lavoratori dipendenti e di altri soggetti rappresentativi della società civile, in particolare nei settori socioeconomico, civico, professionale e culturale, per la nomina come membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo. (3) Il 18 settembre 2020 il Consiglio ha adottato una decisione relativa alla nomina dei membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2020 al 20 settembre 2025 («decisione adottata il 18 settembre 2020») ( 4 ) . Tuttavia, l’allegato della decisione adottata il 18 settembre 2020 conteneva alcuni errori materiali. È pertanto opportuno abrogare la decisione adottata il 18 settembre 2020 e sostituirla con la presente decisione. (4) La presente decisione dovrebbe nominare i membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2020 al 20 settembre 2025. La presente decisione dovrebbe, di conseguenza, applicarsi retroattivamente a decorrere dal 21 settembre 2020, HA ADOTTATO LA PRESENTE DECISIONE: Articolo 1 Le persone elencate nell’allegato della presente decisione sono nominate membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2020 al 20 settembre 2025. Articolo 2 La presente decisione abroga e sostituisce la decisione del Consiglio relativa alla nomina di membri del Comitato economico e sociale europeo per il periodo dal 21 settembre 2020 al 20 settembre 2025 adottata il 18 settembre 2020.
